Union Projects were employed via the clients Contract Administrator GVA James Barr, as principal contractor to deliver an £400K Refurbishment, Extension and Fit-Out within a 100 year old Public House which had been empty for some time.

The works involved the complete strip out of the ground and 1st floor, full structural alterations, Site Clearance works, full roof removals, M&E strip out, and complete window and door removals.

During the 16 week project, Union installed a full new M&E installation, new slate roof, new timber sash and case windows and timber doors, complete new wall linings, ceiling linings and full internal fit-out including servery, commercial kitchens and public ans staff WC facilities all to the hightest of standards.

We formed a new extension to the rear, a full  new 20 space car park and a 2 bedroom flat above the tea room and gift shop.

All works were completed to an extremely high standard. The project has been officially handed over to our client and the incoming tenants have taken occupancy.

The works involved our Civils, Joinery, Decorating and M&E divisions.
