Union Projects were employed by Aberdeen Asset Management as principal contractor to deliver an £850,000 grade A office fit-out in Edinburgh City Centre in November 2013.

The works involved the complete strip out of the 20,000ft2 office building including structural demolitions, M&E strip out, suspended ceiling removals and raised access floor removal.

During the 13 week project, Union installed full new mechanical and electrical systems, new suspended ceilings, new raised access floors and new finishes throughout.

A new WC core block was formed and fitted out to a high specification. The main office area was completed including high specificatioin timber veneered doors. Existing windows were sprayed a proprietary electrostatic spray and new mezzanine floor was created above.

All works were completed on time, on budget and avoided any disruption to the live working environment in which the project took place.

The project has been officially handed over to our client and the incoming tenant has taken occupancy. Since then, we have went on to negotiate further contracts with this client. The works involved our Civils, Joinery, Decorating and M&E divisions.
